This was great since I am currently covering the study of Christ in the Old Testament and it's interesting to hear perspectives outside of the class.

Regarding the attitude towards medieval scholars and their questions that really seem odd when applied to theology; how can we laugh? In the future, seminary students will wonder how liberal TEC seminaries could debate the harm of cow flagelance on creation, the sacrifice of infants for the perception of personal freedom along with the reign of Katherine the impaler and her radical minions. I'm sure it will all seem as unbelievable to them as the relation between fingernail droppings regrading the resurrection seems to us.
